New Zealand Part Two

Okay so after spending two nights at Christchurch, we were finally off to Mount Cook. We travelled along the 'scenic' route and of course the view was breathless. We stopped along the way at this lake called lake Tekapu. The lake itself is turquoise and it is simply spectacular. Have a look at the photos yourself.

Although we spent one night at Mount Cook, we chartered a private helicopter the next morning after we had checked out of the hotel. The experience was just surreal and it was my first time on a helicopter. The pilot took us to a glacier where only helicopters could land, and for once I forgot that New Zealand was having summer because there was snow all around. So yeah, enjoy the pictures of Mount Cook.
