On This Day...
Today is 2 September 2008, week 6 of semester two in year 1. The time that I've cast this post into stone is 2220H.
On this day, marks officially the second day of spring.
On this day, Trevor Tonkin the BPA lecturer spent half the lecture discussing on student's feedback and apologizing for making unprofessional remarks at certain students' improper use of grammar and vocabulary when posting questions on the online tutor. He also kept us back 5 minutes later than usual to have a 'heart to heart' talk with his students.
On this day is the day the board of the reserve bank of Australia meets to discuss its current position of monetary policy. It is the so called 'world cup final' to every macroeconomist as he/she leans forward eagerly in anticipation on whether the reserve bank of Australia will lower its cash rate for the first time since 2001. In other words, to a macroeconomist, this is like watching a macroeconomic version of the 2008 Wimbeldon Final between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. (Well for your information although the average person couldn't care less, the Reserve Bank of Australia did lower the cash rate from 7.5% to 7.00%. Damn should have gone to bet!)
On this day marks David Bako's birthday. Well hope he will have a fine day indeed.
On this day, Ying Huey came to my place and used my toliet.
On this day, May messaged me and ordered me to do page one of accounting assignment one.
On this day, I finally knew why Australia is not a nuclear superpower even though it had access to uranium.
On this day, I now know the difference between Singapore's NSF and Israel's NSF.
On this day, is just one of those days that I never stop thinking about you...
