the green light

for the past few nights,
there was a boy who couldn't sleep.
so he looked towards the only source of light which was shining fairly brightly
in his dark room.
it was green.
he stared at the green light for a while and he knew this,
that his kind was obsolete.
technology has to move on, for the benefit of mankind.
no longer can old things keep up.
I guess he was pretty much resigned to his fate,
for he can never...
but yet he was relieved in a way,
and it was this feeling that finally he succumbed...
